Genres - realistic fiction, narrative nonfiction, biographies, and persuasive articles.

 

Phonics - Short vowels, long vowels, r-Controlled vowels, and words with /u/.

Genres - Historical fiction, realistic fiction, expository text, biography, lyric and narrative

 

Word Study - Words with Greek and Latin Roots, words from mythology, number prefixes uni-, bi-, tri-, and centi-, and suffixes -ible, and -able.
